#ThankYouMiami for a Better Shopping Experience

The Miami M.O. is "go big or go home". Our beaches are prettier, our skyline is taller, and our parties are "funner". This logic also applies to our malls, which are beautifully designed and outfitted with only the best in stores and restos. We're not mall people so, when we're in need of some retail therapy, we venture to malls that do not give off a traditional mall vibe - think generously landscaped outdoor malls. Fortunately, Miami caters to our needs.

At the top of our list for stress-free shopping is The Falls, one of the largest open-air malls in the U.S. The Falls has over 100 stores, including our favorites Bloomies, BCBG, L'Occitane, Michael Kors, and PacSun. It also has the distinction of hosting one of four Apple Stores in the greater Miami area. To top it off, The Falls is outfitted with a gorgeous series of covered walkways, water features, and vegetation reminiscent of a Japanese garden. Because, if you're not shopping at Miami's most zen mall, then you're not doing it right.

Last month we participated in a blogger's brunch where we got a taste of The Falls experience. During the event, we sampled the decadent breakfast items from resident Italian resto, BRIO Tuscan Grille, and walked off the calories with some cardio (read, shopping). We also took advantage during our visit to pick up cute décor for our beach apartment from the Polaroid Foto Bar and to stock up on some summer essentials from PacSun. A Miami le encanta la extravagancia. Nuestras playas son más bonitas, nuestros edificios más altos, y nuestras fiestas son más divertidas. Esta lógica también aplica a nuestros centros comerciales, los cuales están bellamente diseñados y tienen solo las mejores tiendas y restaurantes. A nosotros no nos gusta mucho ir de compras en los centros comerciales asi que, cuando queremos ir de compras, buscamos lugares que tienen un bonito ambiente - por ejemplo, los centros comerciales al aire libre y con vegetación.  Afortunadamente, Miami nos los ofrece.

El centro comercial más relajante de Miami es The Falls, el cuál es uno de los centros al aire libre mas grandes de los Estados Unidos. The Falls tiene más de 100 tiendas, incluyendo nuestras favoritas: Bloomingdales, BCBG, L'Occitane, Michael Kors y PacSun. También se distingue por tener una de las cuatro tiendas de Apple en todo Miami. Lo que más nos encanta de The Falls es que luce paisajes y fuentes que nos recuerdan a los jardines japoneses. Porque, si no vas de compras en el centro comercial más zen de Miami, tienes mucho que aprender.

El mes pasado participamos en un desayuno de blogueras durante el cuál aprendimos sobre la experiencia que es The Falls. Durante el evento, probamos la comida exquisita de BRIO Tuscan Grille y quemamos todas esas calorías con un poco de ejercicio (es decir, compras). Tomamos ventaja de nuestra visita para escoger nuevas decoraciones para nuestro depa en Polaroid Foto Bar y para agregarle nuevas piezas de verano a nuestro closet de PacSun. Proof that, if your mall doesn't look like a zen garden, you're not doing it right.

At the Polaroid Foto Bar, we printed our favorite snapshots from the #ThankYouMiami Instagram account to create this amazing new display for our beachside apartment. We'll definitely be stopping by again to pick up gifts for our friends and family!
